"Stories From the Edge"

Many adults want to participate in theater arts, but traditional community theater requires a 12+ week commitment that is incompatible with work schedules, military service, family obligations, and caregiving responsibilities. This series offers a "theater sprint" approach, taking participants from rehearsal to performance in under 7 days.  By truncating performing timelines, we provide an accessible pathway for many more community members to engage in the performing arts through a fully realized one-week theatrical production experience.

The program is rooted in Capital Edge Theater's belief that creativity, connection, and artistic expression should be available to everyone, not only those with extensive free time, financial backing, or prior experience. By removing one of the greatest barriers to participation, TIME, 'Stories From the Edge' creates opportunities for veterans, military families, working professionals, retirees, and community members to engage in collaborative artistic experiences, build confidence, develop new skills, and form meaningful relationships- WITHOUT breaking the time bank.
